Colorescience Corrector Palette: A Fall Favorite Makeup Accessory

Fall…the time when the weather changes and so do our fashion choices. I love to pull out my sweaters, boots and scarves, and I look forward to adjusting my makeup colors as well. You will often hear me say that there are core products and procedures that are necessary and non-negotiable, but the “accessories” are when we get to have fun and add specialty pieces to our skin care and makeup.

Fall is a time when I focus on corrective treatments to help diminish any signs left over from my summer activities and vacations, and ideally fall/winter is when I focus on maintaining my skin integrity that I have worked so hard to achieve. Unfortunately, some of these treatments can leave bruising, increased “peppering” of brown spots, and even a slight flare of acne.

One of my favorite makeup accessories is our Colorescience Corrector Palette. This one compact has so many variables and is my multitasker. It can be used anywhere. Multiple shades can be mixed and matched to cover any stage of healing. If you’re not having a procedure done, but have discoloration, the Corrector Palette is perfect for covering unwanted spots, can mimic a foundation, and I use it as eyelid and lip neutralizer. It makes the beautiful fall colors more dramatic and true to color. It’s great for traveling as well – one piece that is multifunctional!! The key to mineral makeup working successfully is the way it is laid on the skin and the choice of brush. I also follow the color matching directions on the back of the palette and it hides everything every time!
