About Tammy Nelson, LPN

Tammy began her journey with Genesis in 2021 and has been a nurse for 20 yrs. She worked in hospitals, clinics, home health, utilization review nursing and worked as a traveling nurse. At Genesis Tammy loves working with our patients and helping them understand vein disease. She can be found just about anywhere in the clinic: doing procedures, educating new patients with consults or helping the front office out.

Compassion, kindness and understanding are qualities she strives to show her patients, family and friends. She truly believes knowledge is power and we need to have that knowledge to make good decisions about our health or the health of our loved ones.
