About Sarah Andres

Sarah was born and raised in Mexico, Missouri, where she grew up on her grandparents’ farm riding, racing, and showing horses. A lifelong athlete with a love for competition, Sarah excelled in softball before attending the University of Missouri, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in chemistry.

Naturally curious and always eager to learn, Sarah loves researching, theorizing, and diving into the details of anything that sparks her interest. She considers herself an observer and appreciates the little things—whether she’s learning something new, taking on a project, or connecting with the people around her. Her self-proclaimed “toxic trait” is believing she can make—and perfect—just about anything rather than simply buying it.

Sarah and her husband have been married for 16 years and have two boys, Cohen and Britton, who keep life anything but boring. When she isn’t at Genesis, you’ll find her reading, traveling, planning her next adventure, watching just about any competitive sport, dancing, or listening to music from every genre. She can even play two instruments!

Sarah believes life should include plenty of happiness, humor, adventure, and maybe even a little magic. She rarely takes herself too seriously and believes intelligence and a great sense of humor go hand in hand.
