TempSure ENVI is safe for all skin types and ethnicities. It utilizes radiofrequency energy to target your collagen-producing cells, therefore there is no risk to the skin. Skin color is not a limiting factor, unlike with some laser treatments. However, if you have certain medical conditions, you may not be a candidate for TempSure ENVI. Radiofrequency energy is used to precisely target your collagen-producing tissues. The RF energy heats the face gently, creating a controlled injury. Preparing for TempSure ENVI is very easy. We will review your medications. You may need to stop certain blood-thinning medicines or supplements to reduce the risk of bruising. You should arrive well rested and drink plenty of water before your treatment. Otherwise, no special preparations are needed.
When you arrive for your treatment, the staff will bring you to the treatment room. You will have all your questions answered at this time. They will then have you sign your consent. You will get comfortable on the treatment bed, and when your treatment begins you will feel the transducer moving on your skin. You should not feel any pain, just a sensation similar to a warm massage. Some people do find it slightly uncomfortable. Once completed, you may have a warm sensation in the treated area and it may be very slightly swollen. This will resolve within a very short while.
You will be able to return to all your activities after your TempSure ENVI treatment. If you have any soreness, an over-the-counter medicine for pain is acceptable. Collagen production takes time and the smoothing will be gradual. You will need to do a series of treatments, usually 3-5, spaced approximately one month apart. It is very important to stay on your treatment schedule as this will deliver the best result. You will see maximum results around three months after your final treatment. We recommend maintenance treatments every 3 to 6 months depending on your level of laxity. We recommend using TNS Essential Serum and a daily mineral sunscreen to maximize your results.
