Our Story
The Genesis Company started as a new beginning for us. After 10 years of operating as part of JCMG as the JCMG Laser & Vein Center, we re-opened on January 1, 2018 as The Genesis Company. This new beginning provided us the opportunity to have more direct influence on the services offered and how those services are delivered to you our valued clients.
Dr. Prasad, our medical director and owner, opened our Edgewood location in 2007. He has been treating varicose vein disease since his arrival in Jefferson City in 1996. He noticed many of his patients suffered needlessly and their vein disease went untreated for years. They did not get to his surgical practice until their disease was in advanced stages. He opened a destination vein center to raise awareness of this manageable disease and offer the Mid-Missouri community an option for proactively treating the symptoms and side effects of vein disease and preventing its progression to these more advanced stages.
This change brought about a new interest in offering other services that improved and enhanced the quality of life. Over the past 10 years we have grown from offering a few esthetic services to owning and operating a full service medspa, which opened in July of 2016.
Today we continue to offer comprehensive vein care at our Genesis Laser & Vein Center. We also offer a large menu of medical esthetic services, spa services, and bioidentical hormone replacement at the Genesis Medspa. It is our goal to continue to offer the latest advancements in vein care and other services designed to improve your health, well-being and beauty.
